Top 5 Survivor Nicaragua Season Premiere Moments!

It's hard to believe this is the twenty-first season of Survivor - craziness! Another 39 days, 20 people and 1 survivor! Here are my top five Survivor: Nicaragua moments!

1. The Division of the tribes - 40+ vs. under 30 (oldies but goodies vs. an Abercrombie & Fitch catalogue)

2. The renaming of Justin now "Fabio" - this guy is a total riot!

3. Kelly B's prosthetic leg reveal

4. The voting off of chatterbox goat ranching Wendy - thank goodness, she annoyed me even through the TV!

5. The constant blurred out packages and nipples from the "La Flor" tribe (aka team A+F)

And what's with Jimmy J.? I'm loving his whole "The jury will never give me $1 million campaign" - are you buying it?

Why Lady Gaga Kicks Ass!

I had the extreme pleasure of catching Lady Gaga at the Staples Center recently and dang ..... she kicks some serious ass! Now I have been following Lady Gaga since I saw her perform back in New York in an underground show way before "Just Dance" became a mainstream radio hit.

So what's the secret to Lady Gaga's success?? Besides raw talent, creativity and a willingness to continually push boundaries, I think it's her love and devotion for her fans or little monsters. She bears her heart and soul on the stage and she does it all for us!

Jersey Shore Cast to Make $30,000 Per Episode - Really?

As much as I love entertainment and especially reality TV, I can't help but get upset with my industry when I read that Snookie and the cast of MTV's Jersey Shore stand to make a whopping $30,000 per episode!

Just last night I covered the season 7 finale of Fox's So You Think You Can Dance and was lucky enough to talk to the top three contestants right after the show. These young dancers are so talented, grounded and gracious. And they work their butts off just hoping they can become employed as a working dancer. And what does that get you? Long hours and low pay!

Then you have Snookie, stumbling around the beach getting arrested in the middle of the day for public drunkenness! Now I 100% watch the Jersey Shore and think the cast is a total riot! Finally American Idol Gets Something Right This Season!

It is no secret that American Idol is suffering from it's worst season ever, both in ratings and lack of talent from this year's contestants. Luckily for you die hard Idol fans, it seems the creative and business teams behind the show have learned something from this season and will be making changes!

Taking a note from fellow Fox show and mega hit Glee, next year A.I. will include more performances - yes more singing! Isn't that the only reason anyone still watches anymore? By this point we have to be over Ryan Seacrest's and Simon Cowell's tired old banter. The performance episode will now be thirty minutes longer and the elimination episode will be thirty minutes shorter - well done American Idol.

Next on your plate, choosing an appropriate replacement for Cowell. Fox needs that perfect mix of actual music expertise and personality. Otherwise that whole panel will flatline!

Olympic Fever - Who Else Has It?

Please tell me I'm not the only one glued to my TV at all hours of the day - I have caught a serious case of Olympic Fever! How can you watch anything else when this year's coverage is SO exciting! This mesmerizing display of athleticism has almost made me feel guilty for my Reality TV addiction, but then again isn't this just Reality TV at it's absolute finest? Talk about a competition!

And the fans agree with Shaun White's Thursday night Halfpipe Gold Medal win beating out American Idol for the first time in a long, long time! Sorry Simon, perhaps it's a good thing you're moving on. Now I just don't know what I'll do with myself when the games are over?
